Description:

We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud/Firebase Developer to join our innovative software development team. This role is crucial for leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture and experience in managing real-time data and user authentication.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable applications using Google Cloud Platform services and Firebase.
• Develop serverless applications using Firebase functions to enhance application capabilities.
• Integrate Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Realtime Database into web and mobile applications.
• Utilize Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery to optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications with new features and performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with security practices in application development and data handling.
• Monitor and optimize application performance using Google Cloud monitoring tools.
• Provide documentation and technical support for application features and GCP/Firebase integrations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Google Cloud/Firebase Developer or similar role.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with front-end and back-end development technologies.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Skills:

• Proficient with Google Cloud Platform services and Firebase.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications and serverless functions.
• Strong understanding of cloud storage solutions and real-time databases.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application development environments.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API Gateways.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
