Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai), is a recently incorporated organization launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on August 01, 2023. Dodai is a fast-growing organization with a mission of making e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services. Dodai plans to provide brand-new electric two-wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2024. It’s thus looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent to ensure the achievement of its goals.

Purpose of the Position

The Warehouse Administrator oversees the warehouse operations and safeguards the inventory. S/he will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, reconciling, and tidying up Dodai’s warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory records and request replenishment of materials in the warehouse as needed.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
  • Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders.
  • Update the inventory system with accurate records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
  • Reconcile inventory between the system and the finance book.
  • Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels.
  • Ensure proper labels are placed on the warehouse items.
  • Implement the 5S principle in the warehouse operations.
  • Conduct cycle counts on a regular and timely basis.
  • Report any inconsistency, variance, or incident on time and follow up for the case closure.
  • Ensure all inventory movements are backed by either system transactions or official warehouse documents.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the sourcing and supply management process.
  • Update routine reports to support informed decision-making within the company.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Accounting, Supply chain management, or a related field
  • 0 -1 years of professional experience in-store, warehouse management, and logistics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Have ambition to proceed his/her career in supply chain
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
