Orbit Health is looking for interns for the digital marketing and business analyst position for OIH and O-Academy services.

Job Position: Junior DevOps Engineer 

Location: Orbit Health HQ Addis Ababa

Mode of Work: Full Time (On-site)

Language Competencies: English 

Working Hours: Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hrs/week)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Environment setup and deployment of EMR products
• CI/CD process development and continuous improvement
• Conduct stress tests and suggest rooms of development
• Attending and contributing to company development meetings.
• Understanding the codebase and continuously improving your coding skills.
• Writing and maintaining code
• Working on bug fixes and feature development
• Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems
• Responding to requests from the development team and project managers
• Writing reports and procedure documentation
• Conducting development tests

Requirements

• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes (cluster)
• Experience in cloud deployment and maintenance (Digital Ocean, AWS, Red-fox)
• Experience with Version Control Management, Git and GitLab
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Ability to respond to urgent issues, bugs and requests
• Experience in Javascript(NodeJS, VueJS), SQL Database (PostgreSQL), Flutter
• Knowledge of Hasura GraphQL is a plus
• Experience with Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Healthcare experience is a plus
• Good working knowledge of workspaces like Google and Microsoft
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
• Ability to follow instructions and work in an agile team environment
• Detail-oriented 

Qualifications

• University/College students with Computer Science and related fields who fulfill the above requirements.

• 1+ years of experience
