JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of Supply /WH/Manager, Carries out receiving, storing, recording and issuing of finished goods as per procedures; assumes custodial responsibility and accountability for received goods; takes annual inventory and as required..

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Receives, stores, records and issues finished goods and other items as per store guidelines and authorizations.
• Receives goods and checks for quality. Quantity, weight, and unit against documents and stocks goods in their appropriate storage location; assume custodial responsibility for goods received.
• Receives stores requisitions, verifies for completeness and authorization and issues requested items upon signature of the recipient;
• Receives returned goods as per goods return note and records on the stock card and places on assigned location;
• Takes appropriate safety precautions and security measures to protect stock items;
• Checks and reconciles actual stock items against stock balances.
• Reports on time damaged, perished, and missing items to immediate supervisor.
• Makes continual follow-up of stock level, reports items before the minimum stock level are reached and requests replenishments;
• Keeps store safe and clean and makes sure that safety regulations are observed at all times;
• Conducts physical inventory counts per company procedures;
• Performs other related duties as may be required.

 Food Safety Management System

• Periodically review all Food safety Procedures and interactions to ensure they remain current.
• Company's prerequisite program and ensure that PRPs are implemented, Monitored and communicated to the appropriate parties and Periodically review PRPs.
• Implement, document, maintain and continually improve the food safety Management System (ISO 220001:2015)

Environmental Management system

• Ensure compliance with the relevant requirements of local, national and international laws related to environmental standards and end client’s environmental requirements.
• Recognize and aim for continuous improvement on protection and preservation of the environment with a focus on reducing resource consumption, recycling, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, no net deforestation) as well as innovation to reduce environmental impact.
• Ensure reduction targets (environmental objectives) are in place for environmental aspects e.g. water consumption and discharge, waste, energy and greenhouse gas emissions.
• Determine environmental aspects and impacts and devise methods to prevent or reduce these environmental impacts.
• Retain a list of chemicals used and control them as per their material safety data sheet, and legal and client requirements. Also properly handle and manage hazardous materials and wastes.
• Use R rules (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink, etc) to avoid or minimize discharges to water, emissions to air and disposal to land.
• Ensure sustainable use the natural resources such as water, raw materials, energy and other resources. And also accurately measures and monitors consumption (usage and waste performances) of key utilities and natural resources that follow recognized protocols or standards.
• Implement, document, maintain and continually improve the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015).

Job Requirements

 Qualification Required:

• College Diploma (10+3) in Supply Management, Accounting,  or T/V (10+2) in Commercial Stream.

 Experience

•  Minimum of 3/5 years of relevant Experience respectively
