Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for recording all cash and credit sales transactions professionally, by using the computerizing Peachtree accounting program.
- Responsible for recording monthly sales tax authority TASS system.
- Responsible for daily sales items in and out checking and counting.
- Responsible for all sales by items and follow up on cash deposited and check deposited versus item sales.
- Responsible to check items in and out of the head office store, checking the bin card.
- Responsible for recording material issues by using Excel.
- Responsible for recording and controlling finished goods by using Excel.
- Categorization and filing of all documents appropriately. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
- Prior work experience in a PLC environment is required; experience in an organization engaged in production and sales.
