About Us

We, Merahi International PLC are looking for an experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant for paper & paper products, corrugation carton box, and mono-carton manufacturing unit. You’ll guarantee that all activities related to accounting & finance must be in line with the local tax authorities and as per company policy.

Responsibilities and Tasks 

  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule;
  • Contribute to the implementation of sales and marketing strategies;
  • Support the sales & marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations;
  • Organize and attend sales &marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness;
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print, etc.);
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote the success of activities and enhance the company’s presence;
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics;
  • Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution;
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth;
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses;
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, etc.) and solid arguments to existing and prospective customers;
  • Perform cost-­benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs;
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs and establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships;
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction;
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments, research and generate or follow through sales leads;
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports;
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness;
  • Attend a meeting, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments i.e. best practices and promotional trends;
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services including financial statistical data;
  • Report and provide customer feedback to management maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory;
  • Update client information in the company contact database;
  • Continuously improve through feedback;
  • Performs other duties assigned by management, as required;
 

Experience Required:

  • Should have exposure and experience of at least 3 - 5 years in paper & paper products, corrugation carton box, and mono-carton sales & marketing.
