Position Title: Associate, Central Depository

Job Grade: 6

Duty Station: Addis Ababa/Head Office

Availability: As soon as possible

Job Purpose

The purpose of the association, the central depository is to receives, validates and approves Pick-up Notices from Member Representatives; enters Pick-up Notices into the System; to distribute Delivery Notice and Clearing and Settlement Reports; to receive and process Withdrawal Request Forms; co-ordinates pick-up penalty payments; implements effective ways to monitor and evaluate members concerns and satisfactions.

 SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Distributes receives and validates delivery notice & enters  delivery notice into the application;
• Collects & distributes net obligation report and Member Client Position report
• Receives & processes expired WHR, Late Pickup & Withdrawal Penalty;
• Provides a monthly report on the paid value of expired WHR, Late pickup & Withdrawal;
• Distributes WHR expiry notification letter;
• Serves as a liaison between CD and the Member Relations Unit, Trading Operation, Warehouse Operation, and Clearing House Units;
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor;

• BA\BSc Banking, Finance, and Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 years of relevant experience in customer service management, domestic banking operations, bank transaction processing or related areas
