The Finance and Human Resources Administrator will be managing the finance and human resource of the company while overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the company. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Finance : . Keeps, manage and disperse the petty cash and payor reimburses invoices and receipts according to the established petty cash policy. . Accounts for all petty cash expenditures and prepares replenishment requests when two-thirds of the money is spent. . Responsible for banking matters and all bank account operations . Carries out accounting procedures using accounting software and prepares monthly//journals/balance sheets/bank reconciliation statements. . Ensure that all cash vouchers and any other relevant documents are signed. . Making sure all utility bills are paid. . Monitors monthly income and expenditure. . Arrange and facilitates monthly payments – local and foreign currency-related transactions. . Preparing monthly vat reports. . Audit report . Preparing and managing payroll and Making payment as per the payroll. Human resources management: . Recruitment of new stuff. . Prepares and circulates vacancy announcements on a variety of platforms, . Collects and screens applications, Coordinates and participates in interviews and writes interview reports. . Prepares job offers, contracts and related documentation. . Facilitates office arrangement and working resources of staff. . Takes the new hire through the company policies and procedures. . Manages staff personnel files and ensures that all necessary documents are included, updated and properly filed. . Monitors staff contracts and probation periods and ensure that contracts are renewed/terminated as needed, and staff is confirmed in their jobs or otherwise in a timely and legal manner. . Administers and monitors staff vacation, sick leave and other kinds of leaves and updates the Regional HR Manager on a monthly basis. . Completes the payroll change request form and ensures that HR information is accurate. . Administers departure procedures in case of resignation or termination or end of the contract. . Updates staff on HR matters and policies as well as procedures and also ensure staff inquiries are addressed. . Keeping attendance. . Tools of trade management. . Company internal policy preparation, updating & enforcing. Administrative support: - Creates maintains and manages the company filing system. - Overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the company. - Communicate with the manager to solve any work environment problems. Qualifications: Educated and certified in one of the following fields or related . BA Degree in Accounting . BA Degree in Financial Management . BA Degree in Business Administration Experience: - Minimum of 1-year previous experience in one of the above fields or similar [Applicants must show valid proof of previous work experience] Skills: · Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines · Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint) · Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work · Attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Knowledge of principles and procedures for staff recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, job design, labor relations and negotiation, and Human Resources Information Systems. · Excellent reading, writing skills in English and Amharic. · Intermediate typing skills in English and Amharic. · Intermediate web browsing and email communication skills.
