Menschen fuer Menschen Foundation wishes to invite applicants with the following qualification and experience Position: Water and Irrigation Expert No.Required: 1 (One) Qualification: BSc Degree or Advanced Diploma in Irrigation Engineering/Water Resource Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or related field Work Experience: - Minimum of 3 years or 6 years experience in Irrigation activities & Waterworks - NGO Experience is advantageous Main Duties: - Identify, study and design small scale irrigation & water supply schemes - Supervise all irrigation activities of the project and water supply - Produce design and bill of quantities for irrigation & water supply works - Implement and supervise flood protection structures at river banks - Produce an operational plan of action and organize reports on a regular basis Duty Stations: Jeldu Integrated Rural Development Project (JIRDP) (West Shoa Zone), Jeldu town Language: A good command of spoken and written English Salary: Negotiable Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract Interested applicants fulfilling the above requirement can send the non-returnable application, CV and copies of relevant documents within 10 days from the date of announcement to the following address.
