Gambella National State Water Aid Irrigation Resource Development Bureau intended to recruit qualified professionals for Gambella and Itang Towns water supply Utilities and Second urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project (UWSSPII). Job Position: 1. General Manager for Itang Town Water Supply Utility 2. Director for Gambella Town Water Supply and Sewerage Agency No: 2 Salary: 10,605 ETB Major Duty - The Head of the water service is directly accountable to the respective Towns Waterboard and responsible to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the overall activities of utility. - Other duties and responsibilities as stated on proclamation No 171/2009 article 13 sub-articles 1-13 are also major duties and responsibilities Qualification Requirement BSc/MSc Degree in Engineering (Water Supply & Sanitation/Hydraulic/Civil/Sanitary/Mechanical, Business Administration, Business leadership and related field 8 year in BSc and 6 years in MSc experience with at least 3 of the years working on a supervisory level, in the water sector Other Competencies - Ability and Certified basic computer skill (word, excel, power port, publisher, etc) - Experience in project management - Ability to Plan, Manage, Control and Lead the utility in a profitable manner - Experience in coordinating particularly water supply and sanitation projects development of manuals and strategies of public service with high credit to experience in water supply and sanitation service Duration: One year contract with possibility of extension based on his/her performance Interested applicants can submit non-returnable CVs with application letter to Gambella National regional state water and irrigation resource development Bureau Water Human Resource Management Office No. 3 Duration of application submission is 7 consecutive working days starting from the date of 5/11/2019 up to classing date of 13/11/2019 Gambella National Regional State Water and Irrigation Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the notice Address: Gambella National State Water Aid Irrigation Resource Development Bureau Room No. 3 P.O.Box 29 Telephone No.: +251 4755 10088/ 0184/0407/0091
