Job Summary:

The job holder is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for the Servers and Storage of the Bank. Serves as a technical expert in the area of storage and server administration for complex operating systems. Monitoring and administration of Power System, storage, and physical and virtual servers (LPARs) used by the bank. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and storage. Investigate and analyze the feasibility of system requirements and develop system specifications. Identifies methods, and solutions, and provides project leadership and management to provide a high level of service to the customers of the Banks.

Qualification & Experience:

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Plus, a minimum of eight (8) years in Server Administration and related areas is mandatory.
  

• Certification of open-source operating systems like Unix, AIX, Linux, and Training on SAN management is an added advantage.
