As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our finance team and support our growing business.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist with various accounting tasks and contribute to the financial success of our company. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing support to the finance department as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level accounting professional to gain valuable experience in the coffee industry and grow their career with a dynamic and fast-paced company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis, including variance analysis and budget vs. actuals comparisons.
  •  Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other members of the finance team and cross-functional departments to support overall financial goals and objectives.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus).
