Job Description

Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa which is centrally located in Kazanchis Business District adjacent to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa conference hall (UNECA-AA) and just eight kilometers from Bole International Airport would like to announce the following open positions.

The Marketing and Communications manager is responsible for the planning, direction, control, and coordination of all communication activities for the Radisson Blu-Addis Ababa, with an emphasis on public relations, social media, online and offline marketing.


  • Responsible for the development and effective implementation of public relations, marketing, digital communication, and social media for the Radisson Blu-Addis Ababa,
  • Manage all social media efforts for the hotel.
  • In charge of the brand management for the hotel.
  • Design and implement appropriate marketing strategies in order to ensure the effective strategic positioning and visibility of the property and the brand.
  • Lead agencies where appropriate to execute all communication activities (marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, etc.)
  • Research and seek innovative PR (online and offline) opportunities, including identifying opportunities for the placement of stories and the promotion of spokespeople
  • Write, edit, and submit news releases to the media locally and regionally

Job Requirements

Required Experience

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications / related business fields
  • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in a service industry with a strong understanding of media networks in Ethiopia,
  • Proficient ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal language will be advantageous
  • International experience in social media and other online communication channels
  • Proven track record of social media initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to align with the company’s and department’s initiatives
  • Team player, energetic, and result-driven.
