WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Executive Procurement sourcing strategy: Decides what to buy, where to buy, how to buy, when to buy and Source all Raw and packaging materials required for the business
  • following the Unilever established Supplier qualification requirements, adhering to the systems & process.
  • Ensuring materials availability per the service level
  • Critical for Day-to-day operations risk management i.e. Early identification of issues within the supply chain and supporting its resolution; with alternative sourcing solutions, dispute mediation.
  • Interacting with all relevant stakeholders to get the required support & approvals in sourcing materials.
  • follow market conditions, prepare price trends, and formulate future markets trends for the business.
  • Support the business with accurate price forecasting. Prepares information on cost inflation, prices, and conditions to enable proper financial / cost forecasting.
  • Ensure 100% contract compliance.
  • Supplier collaboration and innovation
  • Support category in development of innovation projects
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  • Support in Resilience and supplier development for key materials

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • A Minimum BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Management, Accounting, or any other related field of study
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience out of which one (2) years as Procurement Officer/Procurement/Category Specialist or equivalent capacity preferably in FMCG industry.
