Job Description

Kelem Ethiopia (KELEM) is a national non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan, civil society organization (CSO) committed to humanity. Kelem has been actively participating in the ongoing developmental activities of the country mainly through the creation of access to quality education, water, Sanitation and hygiene (WaSH) facilities, health, emergency response and capacity building of citizens and institutions at different levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Junior Human Resource & Logistics Officer, he/she will play a key role in supporting the human resources and logistics functions within the organization. His/her responsibilities will include assisting with recruitment, employee onboarding, HR administration, and logistics coordination. He/she will contribute to creating a positive work environment, ensuring smooth HR operations, and supporting efficient logistics management.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Head Office

Job Requirements

Essential minimum qualifications and capacities

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR and logistics-related tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with HR processes and basic knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• A basic understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts is advantageous.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
