Job Summary:

As an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, assist with the installation and configuration of computer systems, and provide training and support for end-users.


  • Provide technical support and assistance for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Set up and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
  •  Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Train end-users on new systems and software applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and equipment.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.


  • 2-3 years of proven experience as an IT Support Officer or similar role.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, networks, and security.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Microsoft, Cisco, or other relevant technologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Additional Information:

This role may require occasional after-hours support and the ability to travel to different locations in Addis Ababa to provide on-site support. Flexibility, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success in this position
