Job Description

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Plan, directed, coordinated and supervised the agronomic, protection and overall field operations of the farm
• Manage the Agronomic aspects and pest and disease control
• Supervise and report on the agronomic status of flowers to the farm manager
• Taking part in supervision of works, acceptance of works related to irrigation scheme
• Ensure that the farm is implemented according to the plan.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base on new varieties, production systems, and agrochemical and fertilizer input specifications.
• Monitor any specific pesticide issues and provide a rapid-response function to
• Check and control supervisors under you
• Prepare the work program and weekly plan for agronomic activities and report to Farm manager
• Work distribution of employees with a harvesting head
• Select chemicals together with the spray supervisor for spray by consulting with the farm manager
• Coordinate and run training on improved agronomic practices in collaboration with the farm manager
• Submit weekly/bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and six-month reports to the farm manager
• Establish and maintain good working relationship b/n employees
• Check and control Scouting Reports
• Organize pre-planting preparation and planting schedule
• Prepare fertilizer and irrigation plan
• Work on climatic computer
• May perform jobs given by farm Manager
