Description:

Klaver Flowers PLC (KLF) is a flower farm producing Gypsophila variety for the world market. The farm site is located in Hawassa, 260 km south of Addis Ababa, at Wondo Tika beside the New International Airport. The Company started its operation in 2013 & has been expanding ever since. In its 50 hectarage, KLF currently has more than 1200 employees & has a plan to increase in hectarage & manpower.

Position: General Mechanic, One.

Educational Background: Diploma in General Mechanics or related fields.

Experience:

• 4 years as a General mechanic works, in metal works, engine works and small electronics.
• Preferable working experience in a modern farm and basic Computer skill

Language: Good spoken and written Amharic language skills, Sidaamu afoo is also advantageous.

Main tasks: Building and constructing shade houses, maintenance of machines (generator, tractor), small electronic maintenance, metal works and leading a group of technical assistants.

Conditions of Employment: 60 days probation period & will become permanent based on a result of performance evaluation during the probation period.
