Job Title: Network Configuration Engineer – Campus Network Infrastructure

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Configuration Engineer to join our team. As a Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network configurations for various networking projects in different sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network configurations for networking projects, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Collaborate with project managers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and develop appropriate configuration plans.
• Campus Network Infrastructure High-Level and Low-Level Design Experience
• Network Management and Authentication System design, configuration, and Integration Experience
• Mini data center Installation and commissioning Experience
• Hyper-Converged Infrastructure Design, Deployment, Integration, Experience
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure deployment experience
• Video Conferencing System Installation and Configuration Experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues, ensuring optimal network performance.
• Provide technical support to project teams during the implementation phase, ensuring successful deployment of network configurations.
• Document and maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to network configuration engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Configuration Engineer or similar role in networking projects.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, etc.).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, VDI, HCI, and other network devices from leading vendors (Huawei).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques such as Huawei e-sight and I -Master.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as HCIA, HCNA and HCPA, HCNP or equivalent are desirable.
