We are seeking an Accountant to join our team and handle various financial tasks related to stock, inventory, bank transactions, and government revenue. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in managing our financial operations effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Stock and Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory audits, and reconcile stock records with physical counts. Ensure accurate recording of stock movements, including purchases, sales, and adjustments.
- Bank Transactions: Manage and reconcile bank accounts, including processing payments, deposits, and bank reconciliations. Monitor cash flow, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Government Revenue: Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records of government revenue and handle any related queries or audits.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide regular financial updates to management.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and records.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1+ years Experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
