Job Summary:
The job holder plans, organizes, directs, leads and coordinates the legal service activities of the Bank. S/he provides expert counsel and insights that enable Bank?s Management to make informed decisions and achieve the bank?s business objectives; leverages deep industry knowledge, regulatory expertise and leading-edge research capabilities to provide the highest quality legal advice and insights; provides input in the development of the Bank?s long and short term strategic and operational plans and policies. The job holder will also identify, develop, deploy and retain staff within the directorate through effective talent management.
Qualification & Experience:
- LLB Degree in Law or Masters's Degree (added advantage) plus a Minimum of 12 (twelve) years? legal experience ideally in a leading organization. proven track record in
- Providing accurate and effective legal counsel
- Contract negotiation and drafting
- Adding value to an organization through the development of comprehensive contract documents that mitigate risk and penalties.
Skills Requirement: Knowledge of computer operation is Mandatory
