GeezJobs - Recruitment Department on behalf of our Client would like to recruit a highly qualified and professional Employee Engagement and IR (Industrial Relations) Officer.

Job Summary

The Officer is the one who is responsible for an organization's employee engagement and Industrial Relations strategy. The engagement officer is, first and foremost, engaging. He/she is the kind of person other people like having around. Focusing crucially on the job and the extent of ?discretionary effort? they are prepared to expend. The incumbent will be the first and foremost role play in integrating both the job and the employee in collaboration with pertinent departments.

1. Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop the engagement strategies and Implement the best engagement practice, Enhance the culture of staff engagement in the organization and proactively focus interventions, through regular staff surveys, and responses to the feedback received /for Engagement/.
  • Create a modern approach to employee relations that enables them to contribute productively to the achievement of the organization's vision
  • Ensure that organizational health, safety and well-being policies are in place and practicing a physical working environment that will enable and encourage high performance and efficiency and reduce risk to the organization and its employees for engagement
  • The officer is responsible for managing employee relations cases and investigations and is expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of legal compliance, applicable workplace laws, regulations, and HFE policies and procedures and oversight of staff engagement activities.
  • Develop and implement an employee recognition program, participates in and support the documentation of investigations of workplace complaints and allegations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and policy violations.

2. Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor?s degree in Human Resource Management, Management or related fields
  • Minimum 4+ years of human resources or technically relevant work experience.

3. Skill and abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to form strong workplace relationships at all levels of the organization.
