Meqoamia Community Development Organization (MCDO) is a non-profit civil society organization. MCDO's legal personality with Registry Number 2099. That played a critical role in establishing treatment, prevention, and recovery coaching especially, for those with substance abuse issues or Addiction. Moreover, the organization has been giving psychosocial support to individuals in need. The organization has a good track record in treatment and rehabilitation services. Almost all the people who require support share a common need for psychosocial support. This includes people with substance use disorder, mental health, and people with disabilities.

We are looking for a volunteer who fulfills the following requirement  

Responsibility

• Come as scheduled and on time
• Carry out your tasks efficiently and honestly
• Commit time for the work
• Accept guidance and decisions of the volunteer coordinator
• Participate in orientations, training, and meetings
• Complement existing efforts to improve MCDO programs
• Improve the performance of MCDO in addressing and accomplishing its action plan
• Encourage MCDO staff to think creatively about addressing the issues of the youth with substance abuse and lend a helping hand along the way.
• Highlights the opportunities and benefits associated with MCDO and its program agenda.
• Keep internal information confidential

Qualification

• Education Background: Preferably Social studies who can serve as a volunteer that can work in a communication stream. More on communicating with other volunteers and recruiting associate staff.
•  0 years experience (previous volunteer experience is appreciated )
