Company Description

Verdant Consulting PLC, is a part of the Verdant Frontiers’ Group and specializes in supporting various companies improve their systems, processes, and internal controls to create efficiency and growth in their business.

The company plans to grow in the next 12 months and seeks to hire a Junior Human Resources Generalist on a full-time basis. Salary is negotiable. VC provides medical insurance and transport allowance to permanent staff members.

Job Title and Profile: Junior HR Generalist

The Junior HR Generalist will handle all Verdant Consulting’s internal HR duties and serve as a consultant providing specific HR-related projects for Verdant’s clients.

Areas of work include:

  • Strategic HR planning and recruitment for Verdant Consulting and Clients
  • Responsible for performance evaluation, training and talent and skill development
  • In-house and project-specific HR system set up and continuous improvement for Verdant

Consulting and Clients

  • Screening, hiring and onboarding, managing employee relations and ensuring employment law compliance for Verdant Consulting and Clients 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize practical exams and interviews for job recruitments both for VC and clients
  • Contact applicant references and perform background checks
  •  Design and Update job requirements and job descriptions
  • Analyze staffing logistics and organize documentation
  • Plan and implement performance evaluations and skills improvement, coaching and mentoring as well as reward and incentive programs
  • Organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs
  • Explain and provide information on employee benefits, programs, and education
  • Cover all legal compliance for human resource requirements
  • Maintain employee records and paperwork with the utmost confidentiality and ensure all information is up-to-date
  • Answer employee questions and address employee concerns with VC, including employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • Assist with proper termination process, preparation of separation paperwork, and exit interviews.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and VC management.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-7 years of HR experience
  • Strong communication and writing skills
