Position: Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operations of all local bank account including preparation of transfer and/or other bank documents and monitoring bank accounts as a whole;
- Carries out standard accounting procedures and prepares monthly financial statements including, balance sheets, income statement, cash flow statement and bank reconciliation statements,
- Ensure that all cash vouchers and any other relevant documents are completely signed, authorized and filled;
- Monitors account payables/receivables and provide directions to reduce the upper limit;
- Review and reconcile balance sheet and suspense accounts in a monthly manner;
- Assisting line managers with any ad-hoc queries in a prompt and effective manner.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly cash forecasts in an accurate and timely manner
- Responsible for creditors and debtors administration including local subsidies and local consultants;
- Responsible for preparation of work papers to facilitate annual tax audit by local tax office;
- Maintain fixed asset register, processing & reconciliation of Inter-company accounts;
- Maintains filing for Financial Section and keeps information confidential in a proper manner;
- Ensure company policies & guidelines are adhered to at all times and report any perceived breaches
- Assists in other organizational activities and tasks, as assigned.
Requirements
Academic qualification
- BA/MBA in Accounting or Financial Management or a related field
- ACCA qualification would be an advantage
Additional qualifications
- Self-motivated, result-oriented attitude and well-organized work ethic;
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including accounting software, ’s like Peachtree, QuickBooks..;
- Efficiency in English, both writing and speaking is essential
- Ability to work in a team and has excellent communication skill
- Preferably with previous experience in preparation of Financial Reports;
Years of experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience,
- Manufacturing & import Export experience is a plus
